New York (August 25, 2008) -- The bankruptcy judge overseeing Syntax-Brillian Corp.'s Chapter 11 proceedings has signed off on the sale of some of the troubled TV maker's assets to a company owned by TCV Group, a manufacturer of plastic molded parts for Syntax-Brillian's Olevia-brand televisions.
