This Tracy DeCuir News Release pretty much acknowledges that Wencor recognizes it`s own marketing needs. Given the apparent miss direct with the Press Conference yesterday it`s no wonder that they contract a professional in the field.
Note the reference to ``Paradigm shift to IFE, producing lower cost for airlines and a better IFE experience.`` Somehow I don`t think thats what Terry Wiseman was referring to in his puzzle earlier this week.....But I do think that the business model of less weight and lower cost does indeed represent a potential Paradigm shift. Couple that with wireless content loading visa vi 802.11a and it represent a tremendous opportunity in the hands of someone that knows how to market.
