emachines basically bought out Gateway and has been running the show with their own people in charge.

Gateway was scrambling and was in a panic mode. The player was a casualty of what was going on at the time with Gateway.

While it is true the ``new`` Gateway did not use us for their next player, it has more to do IMO with established relationships that emachines had before purchasing Gateway then any reflection on our player.

BTW my family owns two Gateway players (as well as every model of e.Digital player) and they are still going strong.
