Yep, that makes sense.

The exception might be some sweat equity put in by Willy and gang -- plus a little luck wouldn't hurt.

My guess (WAG) is that Willy and RP will have something to talk about at the SHM. Just what or when or how many or will it hurt.

The last SHM had a certain, "Thank you sir, may I have another" air about it.

I doubt RP wants to play that game again. He would have scheduled it to corespond with some announcement or future positive event, IMO.
