The pps is only a function of the "DEMAND" for the shares of the copmpany, and in the current MARKET the "Bottom Line" has very little effect on it...

The people who traded 25 Million shares of DELTA so far today expect to make money because they see to potentional of drop in the Oil Price and savings of 10 Billion once the two airlines are merged. They are not looking at the bottom line of the 10Qs just published...
