I`m not sure if they are referring to the entire fuselage (ie Boeing/AirBus) or the IFE system as the big pipe. My first notion was the maker of the body of the plane, but then I noticed they referred to it as `` a big pipe provider-to-be``.

Lots of room for interpretation.

Something to watch for in the days/months ahead. Certainly the ``rumor`` column adds another new dimension to this.

``Now, suppose they teamed with a big pipe provider-to-be, and a manufacturer of low cost, light weight IFE units. What would you have? Thats right, children, a new IFE paradigm and possibly a new vendor that really could take the single aisle market to a new place namely entertainment and connectivity!``

The synergy of this type of ``partnership`` would again, add tremendous value to a small company like EDIG and turn heads.

Let`s hope it is referring to APS/Wencor and that a relationship like that further ramps this up as it appears the embedded platform is about to do. It sounds like connectivity is key.
