Usually you make sense......Leave in the ground for stratigic purposes....??? What happens when the reasons for those "strategic purposes" occur??? It's still in the ground....Needs a few years to get it out......I think the strategic reasons will have passed by then.....then what???

Greed maybe, probably.....But you can bet your sweet bippy the price of oil will come down, and drastically once we make known to the world that we are not "patsies" any more, dependent on them for our energy supplies and start drilling for our own, and especially if what the "gurus" say is true about the vast quantities of our supply of the stuff and it is found and brought up and that supply competes with the worlds present supply.....Prices have to come down.

You can also bet on the Exxon CEO not breathing too long if he were to sell the oil we have and allowed him to drill for to Japan or China or ???? I know there is a world market but if our oil were to wind up in China because they would pay a higher price and not to us then look for the Exxon stations to go up in smoke.
