At one time they were looking into the idea I was told, when suggesting it as a possibility. My thoughts were to have them teathered to seats randomly through out the terminals rather than having to go somewhere and check them out...not unlike a public phone booth concept....units with credit card swipes....exposure and ease of use. I doubt, in that environment, that there would be much vandalism.
Who was the company that had stores in terminals to rent them? I think that model was impractical and required the overhead associated with brick and mortar. This would be virtually overhead free, save repairs and updating content.
It seems like a very large market opportunity...but it takes money to get it off the ground....not much different than vending machines.
