Affordable, sustainable.....in whose' lifetime???? This subject interests me so I stay on top of it.....All the reports I have read by respected people, scientists, etc...who know what they are talking about say that goal is UNOBTAINABLE unless technology that HAS NOT BEEN INVENTED, CREATED...WHATEVER comes on the scene and that is not expected for YEARS......
In the meantime are we supposed to be hostage to Saudi Arabia ...etal....for 10 maybe $15 a gallon. I have a number of vehicles all of which have 20 gallon gas tanks.....Thats $300.00 to go to the grocery store. It costs truckers $1,200 to fill up their 18 wheelers to deliver everything we use in our daily lives. They either charge more for their services and consequently what they deliver that we buy costs more (which is what is happening as we speak) or they go out of business which means we don't get anything, nothing is produced since noone is buying therefore no factories no jobs....no country....
Yea, I would like green energy as well as the next guy but I hope to be in my home able to enjoy it, not under a railroad trestle with a trash bag and a flea invested blanket for my home.....and this road we are going down is going to get very nasty and it will affect you as you stand there with your face in the clouds praying for "AFFORDABLE, SUSTAINABLE GREEN ENERGY FOR THE SAKE OF MOTHER GAEA to make yourself feel good.....
