I have no reason to suggest this other than my own speculation. It seems possible that the EDIG shareholders meeting may be scheduled to coincide (in the wake of) with the launch / announcement of the embedded IFE. Just judging by Wencor`s style we may not see any formal announcement until the fall. (ie the Sept WAEA conference.) If stealth is the name of the game, then Wencor has little to gain by announcing the particulars of the embedded system and much to lose. This isn`t how I want to see the game played but it is a potential reality. Half the weight and half the cost is going to be of particular interest to competitors. If Wencor can commit airlines to contract on a one by one basis w/o publicity, then they avoid revealing their technology creating an additional edge. Guess it all depends on how they leverage the business they`ve already contracted relative to timing the actual launch vs delivery.
