Obviously, ``PVP`` stands for Personal Video Player. I don`t think that Aero is using an embedded version, but portables, and the pictured units are just their current version of the portable.

As for Spirit, what better time to installed the embedded version than when rolling off the assembly line? First one this week.*

As for Gulf Air, new embedded IFE....state of the art (i.e., something brand NEW).*

* While I do recall one reporter saying something about embedded not coming out till Fall, we had Boyer suggest that three carriers may be announced within a few weeks, and, based on the language, it came across as though these would be adopters of the embedded version. Tomorrow, I believe, will be three weeks from when Boyer`s statement of ``expected`` was made. Also, why not before fall? I can`t see why it would take that long....

So, right now, we appear to be looking at the possibility of announcements of three new carriers with some variation of the digE, and may have significant re-orders from Alaska (3,600) and Aeroflot (my guess, 5,000, based on 110 planes, some 75 used for longer hauls, and 50 per plane plus 50%, or 25, more in rotation, deducting the 500-1,000 already in service). One of those new carriers could be CanJet, other two could maybe be Spirit and Gulf Air (but where the heck is Delta?!).

And I KNOW nuttin`!
