mcgris-- And just how is it that you think we can save 20 million barrels by wind or sail? we do produce here plenty of oil and if we drilled and found 50 thousand barrels more a month do you think that will lessen our dependence? you bet it will. Let 50 thousand a month add up each month left on the world market and it soon becomes a glut. Let them use it for their salads who cares. We need to drill for more oil and add to what is now available on our own turf.

Conservation is a dream not a reality because you and i mean you will not be the first among those who will conserve. thats the problem we all will be waiting for the next guy to do it. We have preached conservation for the last 10 years and it hasn't happened . Don'y hold your breath either. If you allow the prices to go up much higher you can then kiss this economy good bye and we all go into the poor house. Be realistic, do the things we know we can do and leave the dreams to the dreamers who are spaced out on drugs anyway.
