Airline Shares Up and Away Posted on: Friday, 11 April 2008, 00:00 CDT SHARES in business-class airline Silverjet soared yesterday after the firm received a takeover offer. They made a statement to the stock market after seeing share prices rising. And their stock then rose another 25 per cent. Bosses refused to reveal the possible buyers. Silverjet operate from Luton Airport to Dubai and Newark in the States and made their first commercial flight in January 2007, They achieved their highest ever monthly revenues in March, with more than 10,000 revenuegenerating seats.
