The flash market is "JUST" emerging. The IFE market is in its infancy. EDig is concentrating all its efforts on the IFE market with other projects held in the background due to #1 the IFE market and #2 no funds to pursue other markets.

EDig "WILL" jump into other markets, specifically mentioned was the "military" if a partner can be found. There are ongoing conversations in this area but nothing is close to fruition.

The IFE market has a number of players in it that will not be around in a year or two. IMS is "NOT" a real player and produces nothing of its own, as it never has, to continue on a long term basis and will be shaken out as time goes on. IMS's product is provided to them by Archos and is what is was 2 or 3 years ago, a modified laptop. As more advanced IFE products are created this product will be discarded.

As the IFE market matures there will possibly be only two or three providers and ALL of those providers will have the ability TO PRODUCE AND PROVIDE AN AIRLINE/AIRFRAME MANUFACTURER A STATE OF THE ART EASY TO USE HANDHELD DEVICE "A N D " A LIGHTWEIGHT, INEXPENSIVE STATE OF THE ART EASY TO USE EMBEDDED PRODUCT.

There may even be a removable flash hard drive to provide enough megs or gigs coming on the horizon of the IFE market......Battery length is the key....

EDIG IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THOSE REMAINING IFE PROVIDERS.
