They announce deals when they are struck. Production logistics are another matter. They don`t begin producing until the cash begins to flow. If they want them in flight by summer or fall, they strike those deals now.

They originally expected those announcements two months ago. Apparently they decided to tie them with these IFE conferences for maximum effect, imo...but who knows exactly what transpired ?
