Pretec is associated with Foxconn, Foxconn is associated with Hon Hai Precision Industry.

"On October 27, 2006 Premier announced that it will formally merge with global electronics manufacturing service provider Foxconn (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) effective December 1, 2006."

IMO...Premier is the target...they are directly involved in memory concepts in what they manufacturer as contract manufacturers.

Premier had a relationship to Vivitar prior to the HonHai (Foxconn) merger, while Vivitar had a relationship to Premier prior to its acquisition by Syntax.

The dates indicate the deck of cards were being shuffled now closely tying all the entities together.
