Am on my way to ``the big island`` from San Diego. Called HA to see if I could get a DP for the flight. Told the clerk ``I REALLY WANTED ONE`` He told me they were not available on any flight from San Diego yet but were available on a number of other flights from different locations. He said they were ``STILL TESTING`` the DP. I asked him what the response was and he said ``great``...(of course he might not know anything) but he did state unequivically that the testing would be done by ``THE END OF THE YEAR`` he did expect them on all the longer flights after that.

I am pointing this out to alleviate the consternation I can see appearing all over this board. HA is taking till ``THE END OF THE YEAR`` to complete their testing. So far results are good......We have had HA testing for months now....We have no news not because it isn`t there but ``BECAUSE IT TAKES SO G.D.MN LONG TO DO THIS..

I invite any one of you to call their favorite airline that we know is testing the DP and ask questions for yourself...
