There`s (no doubt) quite a few individuals out there that trade this stock simply on momentum. They could care less regarding the fundamentals of the company as long as there is volatility. If you catch the move...great. If you miss the move or get caught on the wrong side, you cash in your chips and move on.

As long as the possibility exists for one to make a quick 15,20,25% or more, there will be periodic volume surges. If it weren`t for these day traders the stock would trade thinly and within a much tighter range.
