Look at a better example that`s a little closer to ``home``: PTSC. An ``unknown`` stock dealing with very complex issues. Yet one licensing agreement, which may not involve any infusion of revenues AT ALL - ever, caused a 2-3 timeser with 47M shares traded in one day. Isn`t that a little ``irrational``? And who are these fools investing in a company with no sales and many years of consistent major losses? They must be people looking to a very positive future outcome.
For that matter, why is anyone invested in OTCBB stocks anyway? Or even the Nas? You can bet they aren`t looking to past performance as a major consideration before making that investment. Some examples of the import of past performance exist, but would you rather be the investor who bought Apple a couple of years ago in the teens with high hopes for the future, or the investor buying Apple now, after the run, after the story has been told, and when competition is beginning to really heat up? IMO, the risk associated with buying Apple now is much greater than it was two years ago, with the potential reward anywhere from small to non-existent.
The future. That`s why WE`RE here, and why I think others will join us as the (hopefully positive) story unfolds for EDIG. The only near term concern I have as far as the potential ``pop`` in PPS as the story comes out has to do with how many people are hip to EDIG`s involvement with the digE. Not an easy dot connection for the unaware. And Lord knows that most of us who are aware aren`t saying much or suggesting others invest in EDIG any more. We`ve learned our lesson! There`s your impact of past performance!
To quote a possible old aquaintance of your`s (LOL), Horace Greeley: ``Go West young man!``. He wasn`t saying look to the past or present, but look to the future. It is and has always been an American cultural attitude (and I`m certainly not suggesting that you`re being un-American; you`re marketing of foot-wedge tutoring and hyper-bags confirms the contrary! LOL).
Again I say anyone currently invested in EDIG is being very, very irrational if they`re looking to the past or even the present for guidance. You are here, right? Nothing like `99-`00? hmmm.... Do you own more shares of EDIG now than then? hmmm....
What`s kinda funny about this post is that I`m pointing out things you certainly already KNOW, it just strikes me about comments that suggest things are so, so changed, yet once you look at your own behavior, you may note the contrary.
JMHO,
