Temperature: My Bro-in-Law, a manager at CSC, set up/activated the internal gauge which shows at the bottom right of my screen. Shows external temp. (currently 78) and temp. at CPU (currently a reasonably safe 123). Got a fan going out on me, so I get to pop open the box today to see what`s up (Oh Boy!).

Looking again at those quotes:

``Other highlights of the day’s business included news of a spate of

orders for Thales Avionics TopSeries embedded IFE system, indications

that three airlines are soon to announce orders for “embedded” versions

of the APS/Wencor digEplayer handheld system, and usage figures for

Lufthansa’s Connexion by Boeing-based FlyNet Internet access service.

``APS founder Bill Boyer showed an embedded version of digEplayer

incorporating a credit-card swipe to facilitate transactions and said

that he expected to announce orders from three carriers within the next

few weeks. He also indicated that lead digEplayer user Alaska Airlines

was renting out on average 80-100 per cent of the stock of units carried

on flights in excess of two and a half hours.``

Taken as stated, assuming the reporter got it right, he`s definitely talking ``embedded``. As far as interpretation, commas aren`t the problem, it`s that pesky ``and``.
