Who are you?

I`m going to cautiously tred some ground thus far untrodden, though it`s something that must be on everyone`s mind. Three carriers to be announced as adopters of ``versions`` (which I take to mean differing feature sets) of the embedded/installed digEplayer ``within a few weeks`` (which could mean individual announcements spaced out or together, over the next six weeks - since ``few`` isn`t too precise). Who are they?

I suspect one may be Alaska Air. They have proven success with the portable, so why not go with the next best improvement to the proven thing? Even though this means a digE at every seat, it would only be on planes designated for appropriate flights (2.5+ hours). Quantities may not be that impressive.

Based on past word from Wencor, I suspect another prime candidate would be Delta. Too bad whoever it was that took that transAtlantic flight on Delta where they were testing some new installed IFE, but was too tired (understandably) to ``investigate`` was unable to do so. If he had identified it as an installed digE, that would have been the scope of the year! Anyway, we did get that word from that Wencor rep that they were ``working on Delta``, which is quite suggestive. How many? Depends on how they want to go about it, and over how many months/years, but per my seat count the potential IMO is around 100,000, with no back-ups (counting only planes in the Delta fleet having more than 60 seats). This could be a home run....

The third? Could be anyone.... I`ll be back with more (puter`s frying - at 154 degrees internal...).
