Great story. Are you still swingin` a single digit handicap? Once upon a time in land far from SoCal. I had a legit 10 Hcard, but have never improved to a single digit and play about a 13 or 14 today....depending on the number of sucessful foot wedges. Distance is never an issue for me. Unfortunately, I putt exactly the same way.
