IMHO - The flasback digital rcorder was the whole kitten-cabootle; now wheather the patents will be judged that broad is any ones guess. They'r obviously targeting the 'removable' aspect f t but say their broading/expanding this. can't wait to see 

m-systems/sandisk have been in the flash memory business since 84-88 i thnk,,, it was the first digital flash based recorder of its kind that I can find ... maybe doni or someone else can enlighten us on flash controlers that predate MicroOSi and how they could have done the same exact thing because it is beyond me.
