expansion card or storage card

"It’s easy to get started, too. The docking station comes with a mounting adapter customized for your vehicle. Once the PowerPDA is charged, simply turn it on and put in Banks’ 64MB memory card with PowerPDA software. The 64MB card also allows you to run virtually any program on your Palm Tungsten E2. Should the battery ever lose its charge, the software will still be there—it never requires re-loading."

Digital Media...In reading the statement and reading the sticker on the SD card, it almost sounds as if this is self contained expansion beyond storage only.

Self contained expansion is what I have commented on in the past.

"The card allows you to run"..... That reads to me,  that the applications are not loaded and stored on the handheld in a normal scenario....why would they need make that statement?

Brand name Stickers of this type on cards should be suspect....especially noted with explanation phrases like that. It reads to me the card is not used for Software transport only.
