this is one of several major possibilities for the digit. Airlines are suffering a great deal while trying to survive skyrocketing oil prices (see Delta looking to merge with UAL and___ today) I forsee airlines and airline manufacturers simply making a "charging cradle box" that fits in with the backs of the seats, easily designed to be wired or plugged into the outlet that each seat has. This design coupled with the light weight of the eVU's will bring a significant fuel savings over the rest of the competition. Then add on being able to charge for movies and other premium content like games due to the eVU's incredible functionality and these same airlines can generate much needed sales and revenues. Add avertising and the internet, and WOW!!! And if that weren't enough people, doing this just solved the biggest obstacle they have in IFE, LOGISTICS. I know for those of you that are tracking with me, what about loading NEW content, it'll be wireless and I know of another idea I will share with EDIG. Add this all up and EDIG would sell 200-300 eVU's per plane, not just 50, also for the entire fleet. This alone can make EDIG A MAMOTH COMPANY!!!
