 " Maxjet Airways Inc., which in July applied for U.S. approval to fly nonstop flights between Shanghai and Seattle, won't be flying anywhere anytime soon."

 Was there an approval on the China side? Reading that, it looks like there might have.

 ""We knew we were the underdog in being awarded service to China. Our business model is right for China, but an airline with an older, traditional multi-class model was chosen," said Maxjet CEO Bill Stockbridge, in a September statement.""

 

Anyone find out who won the concession as far as a U.S approval is concerned?
