I was told almost a year ago that the contract Collier wrote was not iron clad which was why F10 was able to jerk us around the way they did. In retrospect it is probably why EDIG settled for the 200k. I was convinced that the settlement would have been more in our favor b/c of the paper trail management had created, but when the contract isn`t worth the paper it was written on, no amount of documentation is going to be enough.

When I talked with Putnam a couple of weeks ago about other opportunities in auto infotainment, he said they would be able to talk more about it after a settlement with Fugitsu 10. I`m not sure why the need for a settlement before being able to announce other opportunities. My take at the time was ``other opportunities`` meant other OEM`s but I suppose the settlement could include other business with F10. They certainly left the door open, however unlikely other business with F10 might seem at this point in time.

``The companies regret that the product did not proceed to market as they had anticipated and both companies remain open to potential business relationships and opportunities with each other.``
