Since there is no doubt Atul understands the capability and application of the technology and selects the projects to pursue, the line from point A to point B should be a much straighter line.
However, we all must consider the failure of many other companies to capture the imagination of the MP3 markets regardless of their clout, size or industry stature.
Apple grabbed the brass ring...EDIG, Samsung, Dell, Creative, Rio, Intel, etc didn`t.
All had the same market opportunity. Jobs ``hyped`` a simple MP3 player into a device that would change the world, created the vision and followed through. Had Jobs selected EDIG instead of portalplayer we`d all be happy as clams.
Another ``Apple``-like partner could be waiting in the wings to run with EDIG`s audio-video platform and make this story stock come alive.
Atul is a very understated gentleman. I like what he has been able to do in the past 8 months and look forward to hearing more about the projects he has in his sights.
IFE is in the hands of APS/WENCOR. In the short time EDIG has been associated with APS a lot has happened on the positive side. Considering the growing competition, EDIG is NOT out of the game, as was the case in MP3, but rather on the verge of bigger news.
This is far from over, imo.
Still strong and long.
