This statement was written within..

"Its ultra-small size consumes very little power from your handset, to give you longer battery life on your phone. "

That is a bulls-it statement written by the manufacturer.

The physical size has nothing to do with power consumption with regard to the flash...Ram resource does,  along with the manner of file handling to and from the flash.
