SynQor has filed a lawsuit against a number of competing companies for patent infringement.
The Boxborough, Mass., power supply manufacturer designs DC/DC converters, AC/DC power supplies, converter modules, and defense power solutions.
The suit was filed in in Federal Court in the Eastern District of Texas and is being represented by Sidley Austin. It claims three patents were infringed relating to bus convertors and non-isolated point of load convertors used in immediate bus architectures.
The suit was filed against Artesyn Technologies Inc.; Astec America Inc.; Emerson Electric Co.; Bel Fuse Inc.; Cherokee International Corp.; Delta Electronics Inc.; Delta Products Corp.; Murata Manufacturing Co.; Murata Electronics North America Inc.; Power-One Inc.; Tyco Electronics Corp. and Tyco Electronics Ltd.
A different strategy to name multiple infringers versus DM's stragtegy with e.Digital. I'd like to hear DM's explanation for their current strategy but doubt we will ever get that perspective any time soon.
