It's more than the memory, it also relates from the user interface....down through the various API(application program instructions) as they relate in hand off from the...shutter button... image sensor....to the digital image processor..intermediate working memory configuration.....file creation...to the memory card.

The intermediate memory configuration tells the tale. Is it similar in configuration to the manners of e.Digital? It all comes back to that spot.
