I have been fishin' for this info to settle my concern that DM might move a bit on the slow side until they KNOW they can win.  If they can keep current clients (even "possible" mean ole copy cats) in house and paying bills they should be attempting to fast track the Vivitar case.

Of course, the Vivitar legal eagles will have more than a little bit to say about the time line and EDIG's potential win. 

IMO, the best case would be for a fairly short amount of DD from the engineers which ends in a call to DM.  It's anybody's guess as to how long this "best case" would take.  Certainly, months and not weeks, IMO.
