I doubt the IRS would call them similar. While both tech companies, that's about the end of it.
EDIG has an ongoing product and customers, PTSC does not. They sell into entirely different market segments if you call "selling IP licenses" a market segment these days.
My guess is no wash. I believe Fut on PTSC is a CPA. He can tell you.
