Also, I think I fouled up in a post yesterday re Lufthansa. I may have confused them with KLM re: using digEs on flights to the middle East. I recall that this IS what KLM is doing, but then it seems that link was found to Lufthansa saying that they were using it for similar flights, yes? Was this the source of your comment about Luft doing this in response to rival KLM? If yes to both, I guess my post yesterday was okay, but only told half the story (Paul Harvey, where are you?!).

And it is very interesting that Luft is doing something with the digE in light of their owning a huge IT company that works with IFE. Sounds kinda like it`s a Rockwell-Collins/MAS type outfit. As I said yesterday though (which I think may apply to both Luft and KLM), we don`t know whether this is officially a ``trial`` or if they just got some digEs to fill a gap. In either case, results will be proven, making it a trial of sorts whether intended or not. Makes money, minimal hassles, all other attributes; maybe something could come of this....
