I believe both the second generation Digeplayer and the embedded IFE that are soon to launch both have wireless and credit card reading capability. I was not able to confirm that in my conversation dispite my best efforts. I found myself talking pretty much to myself as I launched into this diatribe of how transparent that conclusion was based on the information in the last PR. Putnam never reacted to my commentary.

If I was guessing, the wireless aspects would have more to do with downloading and updating content rather than transmitting credit card data. That aspect would likely be batched as SGE suggested earlier.
