I think the number of devices which can play digital music will be greatly increased in 2005 and beyond. However, these new toys may not only be more feature rich, but may actually be convergence devices like the past two years of cell phone / camera units.

I would count the folks in Redmond out yet. This is still a very young market with lots of twists still to come.
