North Beach brings back memories.

I was inducted into the Turtles in a bar in North Beach, around 1960..1965.. Sometime in that decade.

Still have the card, the initiation fee was $2.00 and all fees were given to charity. There are special questions on the back of the card and when you ask someone if they are a Turtle if they don't provide the right answer they have to but everyone a drink.

I remember the early astronauts asked about the Turtles, I believe during the Apollo missions.
