Doesn't sound like much of a threat to the current IFE offerings.  Those who need their email on flights already have their laptops aboard....eVUs are for distraction and entertainment purposes.

Would you pay to check your emails or wait until the flight is over...but you would likely pay to see multiple movies on a long flight.
