I don't know, but it makes sense. This past Jan. CES was donimated by the content providers at a hardware show. They have nowhere else to go. The bit torrent world is ripping them a new one and they have zero answers so far.

The record label and movie studio guys are WAY behind the curve as these once lucrative businesses are watching the tech world eat their lunch. Once the label / studio brain farts decided to limit consumer use of a paid for product, all bets were off and they are left with a shell of a business model. It took the tech guys about two seconds to beat them.

Steve Jobs and EMI seem to be the only ones to get the message ---> "I paid for it jackass, now I will do whatever I want with it." And, it took these guys years to understand their own market by not including DRM and allowing the consumer to do what he wanted in the first place.
