I can't disagree with the fact that someone at each of the big mean ole copy cat compnay(s) knows EDIG, but probably the R & D guys as we really didn't get past that dept and into production purchasing for many, if any, projects. The poor SOB that gets the "on notice" letter is probably just a stuffed suit with little knowledge of pieces parts vendors as these tech companies will have thousands of vendors on their books.
The point I was trying to make was EDIG is not in a great position to show off their financial health should a mean ole copy cat want to play the big league stalling game. However, with eVU revenues on the books and growing, the financial picture for EDIG would be much brighter than with current financing tactics.
That stated, you and Eagle are probably right. We will see pps growth when a legal team is announced and the first companies are put "on notice." Should it happen, I believe eVU revenues will be important to keep the doors open and the certificate printing press in the "off" position.
If EDIG hits the first home run and has a strong license deal in place, then the eVU revenue becomes less important and EDIG begins to take the form of PTSC, without sharing half their winnings with TPL. That was more of the point I was trying to communicate.
Obviously, none of this matters should some of the mean ole copy cats actually license the IP in short order. With the right pricing strategy, that is possible if the patents are everything we are lead to believe. I'm just not counting on that to happen, but I would love a good surprise.
