B/E Aerospace lands $250 million of new interiors business
March 2, 2007 – CABIN equipment market leader B/E Aerospace says it has been selected by two international airlines to supply interiors for new and existing aircraft in programmes valued at a total $250 million.
B/E is to retrofit existing widebody fleets and outfit new aircraft with a range of its products, including premium-class seats and food and beverage preparation and storage equipment. Initial deliveries are expected to begin early in 2009.
“These programmes are particularly gratifying because they add to the long list of leading airlines which have selected us to outfit their cabin interiors,” says B/E chief executive Amin Khoury. “Awards like these further reinforce our expectations of continued strong revenue growth and margin expansion.”
