OZ. I am close to the family of Charger ownership. Imo.The interception and fumble was unfortunate,,,And yes, you are right, had he had just dropped it or batted it down, it would never have happened, but that was just good football instict.  The one that bothered me the most was the very stupid head butt after the 4th and 2, when they stopped them cold and the San Diego player gave that totally stupid head butt, which led to a first down and, then, a field goal for the Patriots!  THAT  was the play that cost them the game. I hope that guy will take the full wrath of the team, because it cost them the game, for sure...Cannot remember his name and don't want to, but it IS PART OF THE GAME!
