Yes that is possible, at some point way out in the future (which to me is a year plus). But then a decision would have to be made..... Would it really be worth it to go after Maycom in So. Korea for the penalties attributeable to them?
IMO, EDIG dropped the "production oversight" responsibility all on their own - they blew it. So realistically what they'd be going after Maycom for would be for any penalties levied by the court for late delivery - which may not even happen (as I said, I think that aspect is arguable). So is it worth it? They won't KNOW until the digEcor litigation is done, and then I suspect that the late deliver penalty will be somewhere between $0 and $200k. Even at the high end, I doubt it would be worth it to fight it out in Korea, as the cost to fight would be greater than the potential gain, and there is no assurance of a win (this being key - no win > no coverage of court costs, etc.). Expecting a US company to win in Korea is like expecting Japaneese and Brit companies to win in Texas against an American company named Patriot! LOL
But I KNOW nuttin'!
