Basically, APS (Boyer) was bought out by Wencor, which then formed "digecor" to specifically address the IFE related markets.
EDIG continued to manufacture the digeplayers for digecor until about this time last year when EDIG's asian manufacturer suffered delays. Since then digecor and EDIG have entered legal actions against each other.
The delayed order has since been shipped, and the last info we have is that they are still in the hands of digecor. Digecor has since announced orders for more digeplayers(tm)(EDIG based design) and digeplayerXTs, which are of their own design and manufacturing.
My posts today illustrate how digecor is distinguishing between different orders, some for more digeplayers and some for digeplayerXTs.
Good to see digeplayer reorders vs the move to the XT. I don't know if EDIG is involved in these latest orders but they did get paid for the last order of 1250 units and plan to account for it in fiscal Q3 which just ended Dec 31st '06.
Lots more info can be added to the above, but for chat room purposes, I hope that helps.
