Of course you are correct, hiwever over the years in college and professional, football, basketball and probably other sports, games have been decided by poor officiating. In addition, rankings and bowl appearances have not always seemed appropriate. Mistakes will continue to be made and until they change the rules and change the results after the games are over, which is not the right way to go, we will have to suffer the final results and get on with it. Maybe we should go back to not having any replay and let the officials make the call as we did for many decades.
