While I agree with what you say for the most part, I'd qualify the urgency of signing up with a law firm(s) with it being a highly qualified, well respected law firm(s), and one(s) that accept the best possible terms on their contingency (well under 50%). For that, I'd wait a few more months, because in the long term that fruit would be that much sweeter. I suspect that EDIG is doing just that, evaluating each prospective firm with the same DD that the prospective firm should be doing on EDIG and the viability of its patents. If it takes a little longer, so be it (i.e., no Longs should panic if there is no such announcement "soon", and should take comfort in the implication that EDIG is pursuing the best possible deal).
