You make a good point. Atul deserves a chance and `ole Fred is doing his thing, whatever that is today. Somebody has to be in yackin` up the EDIG advantage with a PROVEN secure platform.
I certainly did not intend to imply that EDIG should abandon IFE. I like cash flow and IFE sure seams to be one source, maybe the only source, in the short term. However, the state of the airline biz is a problem for Wencor, not EDIG, to work through via creative financing and getting past large corporate structures hell bent on preventing Chapter 11 (with a few exceptions).
EDIG`s secure platform is the peg where I would hang my hat. That can include IFE, but there is a big world of lots-o-toys. I first exhibited at CES in 1983, lots of brands have come and gone. EDIG needs just one to come play with us for a little while. It does not take much to go from $4 mil to $40 mil if, BIG IF, the right product is proven to work for the right buyer. I think that`s where `ole Fred was coming from when he mentioned ``home runs.``
Somebody mention Janus compatible devices?
