IMO....DSP/bios....functions similar to the device management of MOS....ending at that level of functionality.
They have revealed embedded flash to be at the heart of it....however, never revealing if needing a RAM requirement.
TI now describes it as an embedded OS...meaning that they have moved it beyond low level bios device management...still without revealing if a working memory is required or not at the embedded level for their SOC device management offerings.
