I too have experienced this problem when I`ve got windows open to both sites. To avoid the problem, what has worked for me is to simply do a ``refresh``/``reload`` first, then proceed. The refresh seems to ``place`` you on the board you`re on (!), allowing desired message placement. This has worked consistently.
