It amazes me how much press this RyanAir ``disappointment`` is getting; much more than the announcement of trials being pursued. And I find it very discouraging. As stated in one of the articles, other (European) carriers are closely watching how these trials are goind before making any moves of their own. This bad press, for whatever reason, is bad for further adoption of our digE by others.

Hopefully other carriers are also looking at the results/reports via Alaska Air, HA, and other early adopters, and are also seeing what we`re seeing in these reports from RyanAir, e.g., the stupidity of single language content in a multi-language region, use on short hop flights, etc. Also hope they are noting the successful logistics and performance of the player. Along the lines of the logistics ``issue``; since no users have apparently experienced problems in this regard, why is it that RP reportedly said that this was an area of concern for others considering adoption?

In any case, I`ve come to really dislike Mr. O`Leary.
